Most recently, Wilson led acquisitions and capital markets efforts in South Florida for a multifamily opportunity zone developer and led acquisitions and capital markets for a Miami-based private real estate developer. During that time, he oversaw the sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and closing of five development sites with over 2 million square feet of planned development including over 3,000 apartment and condo units.
Previously, Wilson was VP of Originations for a Miami-based private lender, BridgeInvest. He was responsible for over $140 MM of originated loans across eight transactions. He led the process from screening through document negotiation and closing. Wilson spent the previous 8 years between two prominent Miami developers: Key International and Related Group. At Key International, Wilson was the VP of Acquisitions responsible for leading or assisting in the acquisitions of four operating hotels (500+ rooms), a 13,000 square foot retail center and three development sites to build over 600 multifamily rental units, 110k+ square foot luxury condo building and a 171-room AC by Marriott. At Related, Wilson underwrote and acquired distressed development sites and structured debt and equity for thirteen multifamily and residential condo projects.
Wilson earned his B.S in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Real Estate and Management.
